Outta ideas?
When I saw Mrs Affleck’s new (?) video, I’m Glad, for the first time, I thought it was Geri Halliwell. It would seem that La Lopez’s video director decided that a homage to Anorexic Spice, Janet Jackson and that woman who once sang Like A Virgin would be in order. Apart from trying to flag the dead horse that is the image of Jennifer Lopez as a kid who’s still keepin’ it real –
real dumb, Chris Rock might say – the video offered plenty of eye candy as Ms Fluffy Bottom saw her wardrobe steadily decay until she was left with pants of Kylie shortness and lots of fake sweat.
As to why I’m writing this in English, I’ve absolutely no idea. Apparently some habits die hard. But trust me, I’m getting there.
